I made some focaccia the other day that didn't turn out as well as I had hoped - the flours I used were far too dense. It's really frustrating when recipes don't work, but I always try to salvage things if I can. So, instead of throwing away a whole loaf of bread, I turned the focaccia into breadcrumbs and used them to make a leek and courgette crumble, which actually tasted amazing!
